The Rime of the Ghoulish Revenant

Part I
A ghoulish Revenant meeteth three Gallants bidden to a wedding-feast, and detaineth one.
It is a ghoulish Revenant,
And he seizeth one of three.
`By thy grey skin and fogg’d eye,
Now wherefore seize’st thou me?
The Bridegroom’s doors are opened wide,
And I am next of kin ;
The guests are met, the feast is set :
May’st hear the merry din.’
He holds him with his rotting hand,
`Buh-brh-bh-BRAAINS…’ quoth he.
`Hold off! unhand me, grey-skinnd liche !’
Eftsoons his TEETH bared he.
